Planned capabilities

The Helm chart will support:
  • Production deployment — Install Pastures as a Rancher extension via the Extensions catalog
  • Air-gapped environments — Bundle the extension for environments without internet access
  • Version pinning — Deploy specific Pastures versions with standard Helm upgrade workflows
  • Custom registries — Pull extension assets from private OCI registries

Current installation method

For now, use Developer Load to install the extension. This works for development, evaluation, and small-scale deployments.
